The study was developed around the Land Transport Regulatory Commission's objective of effective, developed and safe land transport that supports economic growth and Jordan's strategic position. For southern Amman, the work focused on understanding existing public-transport and freight conditions and translating field evidence into a structured basis for future planning.
The documented study area includes Sahab, Al-Muwaqqar, Naour and Giza. The transport system in these areas includes buses, taxis and freight trucks, reflecting the area's commercial role and its relationship with the Aqaba trade corridor.
